Having lived most my life in Colorado, I can tell you that people mention, on a constant basis, the fact that the weather here is constantly surprising. There’s a saying that goes, “If you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes.”
After last night, I think I can say that there’s something even crazier than the weather here – the weather man. Every single weather website and TV report said that we were going to get hit with a MAJOR snowstorm. Some were claiming that we would get a foot of snow. Some schools, as early as last night, reported that they would be closed today in anticipation of the storm. A meeting of ours was cancelled for early this morning in trust of the weather man.
I woke up this morning, eager to look out my window to find out if I would have to come to work today. I was surprised to see that the ground was wet. I made it to work just fine. They’re still saying that we’re going to get snow today.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
On another note, the Motu Propio will be “released” today!
Outstanding Aline!
I only wish my printer was not out of ink, so that I could make copies for a few of the new RCIA candidates who will be coming into the Church tomarrow evening.
God Bless,
Julie
